Creative Direction for KALTBLUT Magazine, Out of Place explores the tension between movement and restriction through a controlled, minimal visual language. Close-fitting, enveloping garments and compressed poses emphasize a sense of confinement, where the body appears limited, almost trapped.
Set in a clean, clinical environment, the imagery focuses on silhouette, gesture, and presence. Frontal compositions and tightly framed bodies evoke vulnerability, while beauty shots highlight facial details and hair as elements of constraint—surrounding and weighing down the subject. The project captures a subtle yet persistent feeling of discomfort, balancing fragility and control.
